Fast love

Goran, a second-generation Russian immigrant falls in love with Julia, also a second-generation immigrant, from Albania. Both live in Athens; he is a working student, while she is still at high school.

?Have you ever felt like the wrong person at the wrong place at the wrong time?? he asks her.

They sit in an empty warehouse, gazing out at the sea, in what is one of the tenderest and most beautiful scenes in Christos Nikoleris?s new feature film, ?Kanenas? (Nobody).

Like a modern-day Russian Romeo and Albanian Juliet, Goran and Julia are surrounded by their own Montagues and Capulets — in their case, two gangs of street racers who are ready to fight to the death.

Their love, however, has no limits. The innocence and purity of their emotions exists in a society characterized by extremism and bias, and their transgression of society?s rules comes at a high price. Meanwhile, the plot develops through a series of events and a lot of action scenes that do not necessarily work in favor of the film. In the end, the viewer is left with the feeling of having watched the movie in fast-forward, as if newcomer Nikoleri is scared of leaving his mark.

The cast is led by Antinoos Albanis, Georgina Liossi, Nikolas Papayiannis and Giorgos Papageorgiou.
