Antenna in aid of children
In addition to broadcasting a series of reality shows – ranging from aspiring singers to spouse-swapping – a local television channel takes on a just cause during Easter this year. Antenna channel is organizing an «Easter Campaign of Love,» as part of its plan for social action, «Dromena – Child and Society.» The idea is to gather donations for children residing in orphanages and other institutions, catering to the young all over the country. TV and radio Both Antenna’s television and radio broadcasts are encouraging their viewers and listeners to contribute funds to the following account: National Bank, account number 100/48022254 – Antenna TV Dromena Paidi kai Kinonia. The money that is collected will go toward covering some of the urgent needs of various institutions which have been determined through the Ministry of Health’s official records. The «Dromena» plan was developed in collaboration with (and by special permission of) the Ministry of Health and Social Solidarity. Besides children and society, Antenna’s plan also addresses sports and cultural issues.
