Top Japanese music producer to give two shows in Greece

Klik Records recently released an album-tribute to major Japanese music producer Hiroshi Watanabe, giving a taste of his music to those who were not familiar with it. Now Watanabe is scheduled to visit Greece for two DJ sets: he is playing at Athens’s Motel club tonight and will also perform at Thessaloniki’s Elvis Club this Sunday. Hiroshi Watanabe first became involved with house and techno after graduating from Boston’s Berklee College of Music, where he studied composition. He then moved to New York, which was where he unraveled his talent. He has been playing music in New York’s biggest clubs for a few years now and has also appeared in clubs worldwide. He has released his work with well-known music labels and has also been involved with video games: He provided the music for successful video game «Beat mania,» manufactured by Konami. He uses the nicknames Tread and Kaito for a lot of his projects. His resume may be impressive, but what really makes him stand out is his own music, which is colorful with sensational melodies that appeal to both heart and mind. It is the perfect background for the mind’s wanderings. New composition The collection released in Greece includes six of his compositions that have already been released abroad, as well as a brand-new work, which Watanabe recorded especially for this album. Motel is situated at 9 Riga Palamidou & Sarri, Psyrri, Athens, and Elvis is located at 21 Nikis, Thessaloniki.
