Exhibition to provide cultural welcome at Athens Airport
While the Eleftherios Venizelos Airport is absolutely functional, at first sight there is no indication – with all the empty walls – of the country in which passengers have landed. Those who would like to see some decoration other than «Live your Myth» type advertisements will welcome the new photography exhibition area with works by members of the Photographic Circle. Athens International Art Program – Special Viewing opens February 21, at 7 p.m. at entrance No. 1 to the arrivals lounge. Two examples from the show: «A Boy in Front of a Painting of a Boatyard» and a handsome newspaper loader figure on the invitation.
