Atanarjuat: The Fast Runner The first feature to be written, directed and acted in Inuktitut, the language of the Inuit people of the Canadian Arctic. The film portrays an ancient Inuit legend in which an evil spirit and a curse take their toll on a small community and on the lives of two brothers. Award-winning drama directed by Zacharias Kunuk, with Natar Ungalaaq, Sylvia Ivalu and Peter-Henry Arnatsiaq. The couple face an uphill battle in trying to communicate with their son, get to the truth and reckon with their fellow townspeople who have begun to turn against them.
