Andros Festival | Andros | August 1-30
The first edition of the Andros International Festival begins on August 1 and runs to the end of the month, and will be headed by accomplished Greek filmmaker Pantelis Voulgaris as artistic director. The festival showcases ancient drama performances and concerts, among other events. Shows take place at the new, state-of-the-art, 900-seat open-air theater located in the Aegean island’s Hora (capital).
