Swing for Hope | Athens | October 3
The Athens Swing Cats and the Athens Concert Hall join forces in “Swing for Hope 2015,” a music and dance event taking place at the Athens Concert Hall on Saturday, October 3. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Hamogelo tou Paidiou (Smile of the Child) charity. Taking part in the high-energy show, featuring Lindy hop numbers and interwar jazz tunes are several local bands, including Diminuita Le Petit Big Band, Johnny Vavouras & The Cadillacs, Nastazia & The Jazzuars and JazzMatazz. Starts at 7.30 p.m. and admission costs 4 euros. Tickets will be on sale in the Athens Concert Hall’s banquet area as of 6 p.m. on the day of the event.
