The Athens Concert Hall presents a live transmission of Richard Wagner’s “Tannhauser” from the Metropolitan Opera in New York on Saturday, October 31. The cast is led by Johan Botha (Tannhauser), Eva-Maria Westbroek (Elisabeth), Michelle DeYoung (Venus), Peter Mattei (Wolfram) and Gunther Groissbock (Landgraf Hermann). The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra is led by James Levine. In German with Greek subtitles. Starts at 7.55 p.m. and admission is 25 euros; 20 euros for students.
