Rousilvo | Athens | March 9-10

The Onassis Cultural Center presents “Rousilvo,” a contemporary Balkan jazz folk opera penned by Kostas Theodorou, aka Dine Doneff. In the opera, the composer tells the story of an abandoned village located on the border between Greece and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). 10. Musicians Takis Farazis, Kyriakos Tapakis, Dimis Dimitriadis, Pantelis Stoikos, Antonis Andreou and Costas Anastasiadis as well as vocalists Slava Pop’va (Evdoxia Georgiou), Lizeta Kalimera and Martha Mavroidi perform. Shows start at 9 p.m.
