Modern Science Meets Ancient Philosophy | Athens | June 9

The Athens Concert Hall presents a lecture titled “Science, Consciousness and Humans: How Modern Science Meets Ancient Philosophy” on Thursday, June 9. The event’s key speaker is Menas Kafatos (photo), Fletcher Jones Endowed Professor of Computational Physics at Chapman University in California. Also taking part in the discussion are Manos Danezis, associate professor, School of Physics, Department of astrophysics, University of Athens, and Stratos Theodosiou, president of the Hellenic Physicist Union. Coordinating the discussion is Elias Kouvelas, emeritus professor, Department of Medicine, University of Patras. Admission is free of charge. Distribution of admission tickets starts at 5.30 p.m.
