Galaxy | Athens | November 3-27

A new work by Greek choreographer Andonis Foniadakis goes on stage at the Rex Theater’s Kotopouli Stage in downtown Athens for a series of shows running November 3-27. Jointly produced by the Greek National Ballet and the Greek National Theater, “Galaxy” explores the universe’s creation and evolution through movement and music penned by Gyorgy Ligeti, Iannis Xenakis and Julien Tarride. Shows take place at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and at 7 p.m. on Sunday. Admission costs 15 euros and 10 euros for students; 13 euros on Thursday. Tickets are on sale at the Olympia Theater (59-61 Academias, tel 210.366.2100, www.nationalopera.gr).
