Don’t Follow the Wind | Athens | To May 14
Chim Pom, Kenji Kubota, Eva & Franco Mattes and Jason Waite have brought artistic and political project “Don’t Follow the Wind” to Athens as part of the Fast Forward Festival. Starting from the common situation of displacement, Don’t Follow the Wind features an installation titled “Non-Visitor Center” in a building in central Athens that was sealed in 2011 due to the economic crisis and has since been left empty. The collective is mobilizing a group of artists to create original works linked to the Greek situation especially for Athens, while promoting a dialogue with inaccessible works in the radioactive zone of Fukushima.
