Balthasar Neumann Ensemble & Choir | Athens | January 25

The Athens Concert Hall presents the Balthasar Neumann Ensemble and Choir – created in 1991 by visionary German conductor Thomas Hengelbrock, and dedicated to the historically informed rendering of classical works – conducted by its founder, in Johann Caspar Kerll's Missa Superba and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Requiem in D minor, Κ. 626. The cast is led by soprano Katja Stuber, alto Marion Eckstein, tenor Jan Petryka and bass Reinhard Mayr. Tickets cost 16 to 60 euros and the concert starts at 8.30 p.m.
