TUESDAY

Doctors at the Social Security Foundation (IKA) begin a 48-hour strike.

Health and Social Solidarity Minister Andreas Loverdos and the Alternate Minister for Labor and Social Security Giorgos Koutroumanis to host a press conference at 11 a.m. at the Health Ministry regarding the operation of pharmacies and the Civil Servants? Fund (OPAD).

The general census of the population of Greece for 2011 is set to begin, and is scheduled for completion on April 13.

Primary and secondary education teachers to hold a 24-hour strike, and march from the Athens University at 12.30 p.m., along with pupils, students and parents, protesting against school closures and reforms to state education by the government.
