Funds channeled to supporting SMEs
Regional Development Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis announced on Monday that part of the resources saved from the revision of the National Strategic Reference Framework will soon be used to support small and medium-sized enterprises.
The government is preparing a new funding program, amounting to 500 million euros, in association with the country?s chambers and manufacturers? unions so as to respond to the real needs of the market and the local economies.
The plan will be announced within September.
