Investors await PSI outcome

A quiet start to the week is expected on the Greek bourse on Tuesday after almost a month with no significant moves and with the market still awaiting the outcome of negotiations on the Greek debt swap front.

The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) general index will start Tuesday?s session at 665.06 points, having added 1.31 percent on Friday to Thursday?s closing figure of 656.45 points.

The blue chip FTSE/ATHEX 20 index ended the week on 256.19 points after daily gains of 1.64 percent on Friday.

Investors are also keeping an eye out for political developments, especially within the PASOK party, as they are expected to affect the coalition government?s progress and to an extent determine the time of the next general election.
