All sides hoping for a swift PSI deal

Athens is eagerly anticipating the resumption of talks on the private sector involvement plan (PSI+) that broke down last week, with the head of the Institute of International Finance (IIF) insisting that a deal must be reached by the end of the week.

In an interview with CNBC television, Prime Minister Lucas Papademos expressed optimism on Monday regarding the course of the negotiations, saying that they are on a good course. ?We will manage in time to reach an agreement that will be accepted by everyone,? he stated.
