Inflation growing despite ongoing crisis
Greece?s European Union-harmonized inflation rate accelerated to 1.5 percent in April from a year earlier, compared with 1.4 percent in March, the Athens-based Hellenic Statistical Authority said in an e-mailed statement.
The rate calculated using national methods was 1.9 percent in April, compared with 1.7 percent in March, according to a separate e-mailed statement from the authority on Wednesday.
