First half shows losses for Fourlis

Fourlis Holdings SA, the Ikea franchise-holder for Greece, Bulgaria and Cyprus, posted a first-half net loss of 9.6 million euros, compared with a 1.7-million-euro profit in the same period a year earlier.

Sales in the six months through June 30 dropped 4.2 percent to 186.2 million euros, according to a statement on the Athens-based company?s website on Tuesday. [Bloomberg]
