Greek 2011 deficit revised higher to 9.4 pct of GDP

Greece?s fiscal shortfall last year was revised to 9.4 percent of gross domestic product from a previous estimate of 9.1 percent of GDP, the Athens-based Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) said.

Gross consolidated debt at the end of 2011 was estimated at 356 billion euros, or 170.6 percent of GDP, from a previous estimate of 165.3 percent, according to a statement on the agency?s website Monday. [Bloomberg]
