In Canada, Avramopoulos aims to attract investment

Greek Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos, currently on an official visit to Canada, met with representatives of leading Canadian companies and businesses of Greek origin on Monday, AMNA reported on Tuesday.

According to the news agency the Greek Foreign Minister presented the country’s comparative advantages in sectors such as transport, tourism and shipping and noted how structural changes taking place in Greece would result in the establishment of a more friendly and attractive environment for investment.

Avramopoulos highlighted that Greece’s position in the eurozone was undisputed and that the country’s credibility had been restored due to the sacrifices made by the Greek people in tandem with the consistent implementation of reforms.
