Athens bourse suspends Coca-Cola Hellenic shares over voluntary tender offer

The Athens Stock Exchange suspended Coca-Cola Hellenic shares on Monday following the company’s announcement that 96.85 percent of shareholders had accepted a voluntary tender offer.

“Athens Exchange (ΑΤΗΕΧ), taking into consideration the announcement of Coca Cola Hellenic Bottling Company S.A. regarding the Voluntary Tender Offer results, made by Coca Cola HBC AG to the Company?s shareholders, suspends the trading of the common shares of the company Coca Cola Hellenic Bottling Company S.A., as well as the trading of the derivatives products with underlying the shares of the aforementioned company, as of April 22, 2013, in order to ensure the proper operation of the market and its products (Indices, ETFs) and up to the completion of the transfer and credit of new shares in the accounts of the beneficiaries,” the bourse said in a statement.
