Greek CPI down 0.4 percent y-o-y in June

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) fell by 0.4 percent in June 2013 compared with a year earlier, the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).

The CPI in June 2013 compared with May 2013 decreased by 0.2 percent. In June 2012, the monthly rate of change of the CPI was -0.3 percent.

In the twelve-month period from July 2012 to June 2013 compared with the period from July 2011 to June 2012 the annual average rate of change of the CPI was 0.5 percent.

The corresponding annual average rate of change of the CPI in the previous year (July 2011 to June 2012), was 2.2 percent.
