Greeks betting on economic recovery
Greek gamblers are taking heart from signs of a reversal in the country’s recession as they begin to spend more on bets, the CEO of Greece’s biggest gambling company, OPAP, said.
“Very recently, in the last few months, we’ve seen a shift from our customer base, customers tend to spend a little bit more,” Constantinos Louropoulos said in an interview in London on Thursday.
“There is a positive trend in consumer confidence.”
