Posidonia exhibition set to be bigger than ever
This year’s Posidonia shipping exhibition, to take place on June 2-6 at the Athens Metropolitan Expo venue, will be the biggest in the event’s long history, with organizers confirming on Thursday it will break records in terms of both the number of participating countries and the size of the exhibition, while the conferences and seminars program is significantly larger than the previous Posidonia event in 2012.
More than 1,800 exhibitors and some 19,000 visitors from a record 93 countries and territories will attend Posidonia 2014, demonstrating the trademark event’s ever growing global appeal.
“We are happy to announce that this year’s Posidonia will be the greatest ever and we will try our best to optimize the experience for our exhibitors and visitors and make it as rewarding and as pleasant as possible,” Theodore Vokos, executive director of Posidonia Exhibitions SA, the organizers of the biennial event, said at a press conference on Thursday.
