Greek Mazda representative files for bankruptcy
A decision by Mazda’s Greek representative and official importer, Elma SA, to file for bankruptcy was expected to result in the loss of hundreds of jobs and see Mazda owners facing the possibility of being unable to locate spare parts for their vehicles and trucks.
The move was made by Elma on Monday following 27 years of local operations.
A decision regarding a new representative was expected to be reached by Japan’s Mazda Motor Corporation.
