British Airways adds flights to Greek islands of Kos and Corfu from May

British Airways has reportedly announced that it will be adding new flights to popular Mediterranean destinations, including the Greek islands of Kos in the eastern Aegean and Corfu in the northern Ionian, Breaking Travel News website said on Thursday.

The new routes, which also include Olbia in Sardinia and Split in Croatia will be launched on May 1, 2015.

“It’s great to be able to offer an increasing number of Mediterranean destinations for customers flying from Heathrow for that weekend break in the sun or for longer holidays,” Lynne Embleton, British Airways’ director of strategy, is quoted as saying.

“We know these new short haul routes are going to prove very popular after launching services to Myconos and Santorini earlier in the year and give our customers an even greater choice of places to get away from it all.”
