Market professionals have told Kathimerini that international developments in the sector and the apparent inability of the Greek market to improve its services and infrastructure are contributing toward the gradual shift of holidaymakers toward other routes and destinations.
This year cruise tourism in Greece is expected to come under additional pressure due to the political and economic uncertainty in the country, especially regarding transit routes.
