ATHEX: Week ends with losses of 3.21 pct

The seemingly endless impasse in the talks between Athens and its creditors as cash reserves dwindle by the day inflicted fresh losses on the local stock market on Friday.

The large-cap FTSE/ATHEX 25 index contracted 2.64 percent to close at 243.42 points.

In total 31 stocks moved up, 76 headed south and 11 stayed put.

Turnover came to 70.2 million euros, down from Thursday’s 74.4 million.
