Thomas Cook gains after vowing to give compensation to charity

Thomas Cook Group Plc, recently lambasted in the British media for retaining compensation it received following the deaths of two children at a Corfu hotel in Greece it endorsed, gained in the London bourse on Tuesday after saying the cash would be donated to charity. [Bloomberg]
