Greek stocks slide 2.49 percent

The Athens Stock Exchange experienced another testing session on Friday as the general index fell again.

It was down to 635.32 points, which was 2.49 percent lower than Thursday.

This meant that the index fell by almost 6 percent over the week, with bank stocks leading the way.

Their value plummeted by 28.7 percent between Monday and Friday.

Turnover on the bourse was down again on Friday, falling 1.9 percent to 28.55 million.
