Nova bags rights to air English soccer in Greece

Athens-listed telecommunications firm Forthnet on Thursday announced it had acquired the broadcasting rights for all three English soccer cup competitions for 2016 as well as the rights for all FA Cup games for the next two years for its satellite TV platform Nova.

This Sunday Novasports 2 will air the English League Cup final between Liverpool and Manchester City.

Nova, Greece’s leading pay TV platform, has over half a million subscribers.
