Fifth Jysk store to open in Greece

Danish retail chain Jysk, which sells household goods such as mattresses, furniture and interior decor, will open its fifth store in Greece on August 25.

The new 950 square meter store will be located in the Acharnes area at the junction of Karamanlis and Thrakkomakedones avenues and will employ 10 people.

The company says it aims to open a total of 40 stores within the period from 2015to 2020.

Jysk opened its first store in Greece in September 2015. The company was founded in 1979 and has more than 2,300 stores in 43 countries, employing 20,000 people.
