ABS summit ‘Shaping Maritime’s Future Together’
ABS is on Tuesday hosting the ABS Sustainability Summit, under the title “Shaping Maritime’s Future Together,” in the context of the Posidonia Web Forums Week.
In this inaugural virtual event, ABS will bring together industry leaders from major international players such as Maersk Mc-kinney Moller Center, Chevron, Citi, Clarksons Research, JP Morgan Asset Management, MAN Energy Solutions, V.Group, and Wärtsilä.
They will address some of the industry’s most pressing issues and discuss the latest decarbonization insights surrounding fuel options, technology advancements, operational improvements, as well as the effects of Covid-19 on the maritime industry as it is being challenged to meet an aggressive timeline to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
