TANKERS In the Med., Tupras for 80,000 tons of cargo, loading beginning of February Egypt, discharging Turkey, has fixed M/T «Archon» at W/S 215. – In the Cont., Navion for 80,000 tons of cargo, loading beginning of February Denmark, discharging Sweden, has fixed M/T «Natura» at W/S 128.75. – In Caribs, Conoco has fixed M/T «Four Bay» for 70,000 tons of cargo, loading beginning of February East Coast Mexico, discharging US Gulf, at W/S 150. – In West Africa, Stasco has fixed M/T «Ingeborg» for 130,000 tons of cargo, loading mid-February, discharging US Gulf, at W/S 185. – In Arabian Gulf, Chevtex has fixed M/T «Courtenay Bay» for 270,000 tons of cargo, loading February 10, discharging Far East, at W/S 135. DRY CARGO On Capers, Cetragpa has fixed M/T «Mineral Belgium,» 175,000 dwt, built 2005, delivery Atlantic beginning of March, for 34-36 months’ trading at USD 48,500 daily. – On Panamax in the Far East, Ugland has fixed M/V «Ivs Merlot,» 76,000 dwt, delivery Japan end of April or beginning of May, for five years’ trading at USD 21,500 daily, while Mosk has fixed M/V «Guinomar Bastion,» 74,193 dwt, built 2001, delivery China beginning of February, trip via Indonesia, redelivery Japan, at USD 31,500 daily. – Daiichi has fixed M/V «Darya Preeth,» 73,000 dwt, built 1995, delivery China February 5-10, trip via Indonesia, redelivery Japan, at USD 28,000 daily. – On smaller sizes, WBC has fixed M/V «New Giant,» 45,554 dwt, built 1996, delivery Venezuela February 7-10, trip via North Coast South America, redelivery West Coast South America, at USD 29,000 daily, while the same charterers have fixed M/V «Seaguardian II,» 28,251 dwt, built 1984, delivery beginning of February Poland, redelivery US Gulf, at USD 15,750 daily. – On ore cargoes, TKS has fixed M/V «Kwk Exemplar» for 150,000 tons of cargo, loading Ireland March 1-10, discharging Rotterdam, at USD 23.00 per ton with 2 days’ load and 25,000 tons discharge.
