Greece’s National Tourism Organization is taking part in London’s World Travel Market Exhibition (photo shows stand), trying to entice operators. Tourism Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos is also doing his promotion bit. Yesterday, he announced an agreement ‘with a special political significance’ to exhibit the waxworks of late statesmen Eleftherios Venizelos, Constantine Karamanlis and Andreas Papandreou at Madame Tussaud’s.
