‘The Mall,’ opened to the public…

Greece’s biggest shopping and entertainment complex, ‘The Mall,’ opened to the public in the Athens suburb of Maroussi and close to the Olympic Stadium yesterday. The Mall, located next to the Nerantziotissa suburban railway station, includes about 200 shops, 26 restaurants and cafes and 15 cinema screens. There are parking facilities for more than 2,000 cars. Built by Lamda Development at a cost of over 320 million euros, the facility will be managed by a consortium of Lamda Hellas and Germany’s ECE Projektmanagement. The Mall is estimated to employ about 2,500 people.
