The Municipality of Athens…
The Municipality of Athens yesterday launched an ambitious recycling program for all forms of packaging waste, printed paper, as well as abandoned vehicles, lubricants and electronic and electrical appliances. The city has so far operated only a pilot program, with a number of recycling bins at central points. Some suburban municipalities have been running a joint scheme for packaging materials for more than two years.
