The Bridge looks at the emerging Black Sea region

The next issue of The Bridge magazine, to be distributed in Kathimerini English Edition on Tuesday, will feature coverage on the Black Sea region as an emerging economic power. The quarterly magazine will include an interview with Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergei Lavrov, who shares his views on the role of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) organization in efforts to secure peace, stability and economic growth in the greater region. The cover story also includes an interview with Hayrettin Kaplan, president of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, and takes a look at successful models of business dexterity in the BSEC region. The issue will also include articles contributed by Dr Ronald Asmus (executive director of the German Marshall Fund of the United States), Dr Hans Dieter Lucas (special envoy for Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus of Germany’s Federal Foreign Office) and Greek Deputy Foreign Affairs Ministers Evripidis Stylianidis and Yiannis Valinakis.
