Greek stocks fall as OTE tumbles

Greeks stocks retreated 0.19 percent yesterday after a positive start to the session as a slide in OTE telecom offset gains in bank stocks. OTE tumbled 4.66 percent to a 13.10 euros. Index heavyweight National Bank gained 0.99 percent to 30.50 euros while Alpha Bank, which has yet to report first-half earnings, soared 4.89 percent to 18.46 euros.
