PM calls for fresh action every week
Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis called on the leadership of the Development Ministry, during his visit there yesterday, to initiate each week ‘new action that will make the life of citizens more comfortable and make Greek entrepreneurs and consumers feel more secure.’ Karamanlis stressed that the major oil and natural gas pipeline projects in northern Greece are rapidly progressing, saying that ‘I have instructed the ministry to continue in the same methodical way and with even greater determination. It should continue to apply an increasingly outward-looking approach and effectiveness in implementing our energy policy.’ He also praised the recent price reductions of various products on the market.
