Stocks rise 1.18 pct
Greek stocks gained more than 1 percent yesterday, as investors flocked to banks against a backdrop of advancing European bourses. The Athens bourse’s benchmark general index gained 1.18 percent to 2,322.77 points. Banks rose 2.69 percent, led by National Bank which jumped 4.73 percent to 20.80 euros. Turnover reached 184.4 million euros.
