Mixed trend on Athens bourse

After a rather quiet session in the local bourse, stocks showed a mixed trend with many blue chips declining but mid-caps growing amid efforts by some investors to consolidate their gains and others making selective placements. The blue chip FTSE/ATHEX 20 index dropped by 0.37 percent to end at 1,058.82 points. The mid-cap index grew by 0.46 percent. Among blue chips the biggest gains were for Mytilineos (up 3.18 percent), ATEbank (2.98 percent), Motor Oil (2.69 percent), and EFG Eurobank (2.62 percent). Worst off were OPAP (down 4.10 percent), Coca-Cola HBC (3.19 percent) and Titan Cement (2.38 percent). Turnover came to 133.1 million euros.
