Price of bread rises with flour
The price of bread is set to rise from the start of next month, as many major flour industries have upped their prices by 30 to 34 percent since two weeks ago. A number of smaller flour companies have informed bakers they will also raise their rates, without giving further specifics. While all products related to flour, such as pasta, are set to see their prices soar eventually, bread is certain to become more expensive as of October. Each bag of flour that cost 20 euros until last month now costs 27 euros in most cases.
