The Piraeus Port Authority…

The Piraeus Port Authority (OLP) yesterday invited companies to bid for a contract to transform its former exhibition center into a 30,000-square-meter five-star hotel. The project is closely linked to the nearby construction of a new conference and exhibition center, the expansion of the port’s cruise ship facilities, as well as the creation of a new pleasure craft marina, which are all expected to boost tourism in the northern city, OLP said in a statement. The deadline for bids is December 15.
