Investors will be keeping an eye on the results of Greece’s next debt auction, scheduled for Tuesday. The Public Debt Management Agency said yesterday that the government will auction a total of 900 million euros in 13-week treasury bills. With Greek efforts aimed at cutting the country’s massive deficit starting to produce results and talk that the International Monetary Fund may provide the country with more time to repay its loans, sentiment toward Greek debt has recently improved.
