New car sales in November fell 63.4 percent year-on-year to 6,771 as record-low consumer sentiment keeps buyers away from dealerships, according to figures provided yesterday by the Association of Motor Vehicle Importers and Representatives (SEAA). The October drop in new car sales reached 57.8 percent, following a 66.6 percent reduction in September. SEAA called on the government to support the sector by introducing tax incentives that will spur business activity and help lift state revenues.
