Christmas shoppers…

Christmas shoppers are seen strolling along Ermou Street in Athens. Store owners have been complaining that despite the increased number of shoppers in recent days, revenues have been steadily dropping. In Thessaloniki yesterday, the president of the Thessaloniki Traders Association, Constantinos Hatzaridis, said that retailers are seeing 2010 off with a 15 percent year-on-year drop in sales, adding that 2011 is expected to be an even tougher year for the sector.
