‘Van Gogh Alive’ opens at the Megaron this week

Journalists on Monday were given a preview of an exhibition at the Athens Concert Hall titled "Van Gogh Alive – The Experience," which opens to the public on Thursday. The exhibition, which has already toured 35 cities around the world, enables visitors to explore the art and life of the troubled Dutch master during his most productive phase, from 1880 to 1890. It features more than 3,000 images, which are displayed on giant screens, walls, columns, ceilings and even the floor with the help of over 40 high-definition projectors. It is set to run through March 4. [Alexandros Vlachos/ANA-MPA]
