Prints suggest larger Nov17

Crime lab investigators have concluded that another four or five – unidentified – people were members of the November 17 terrorist group. They have found evidence in two gang hideouts suggesting that the 18 suspects in pretrial detention in Korydallos Prison had other accomplices. Investigations into evidence found in the Patmou and Damareos street hideouts is almost complete. It has turned up handwritten instructions on bomb-making by an unidentified person. Similar instructions were written by alleged gang leader Alexandros Yotopoulos and suspected member Patroklos Tselentis. Three sets of unidentified prints were found on several items in the hideouts, in addition to the previously reported set found both at the Damareos Street hideout and Yotopoulos’s holiday home on the island of Leipsoi. It emerged also that handwritten notes by Yotopoulos on the construction and functioning of the new Athens airport had been found, raising suspicions of possible thoughts of an attack there.
